The tidal is not overly heavy but not nearly as light in hand as the meridian. The scott tidal is very nice mid priced saltwater offering from scott. Your 8wt mangrove is a softer rod than the tidal and the aetos is lighter and a faster rod but not quite the lifting power as the other 2.
